VISA & LICENSE

From zero: Business Manager visa + Chinese restaurant

SITUATION

A restaurateur from China wanted to open in Okinawa — no Japanese, no idea where to start.

WHAT WE DID

Translated and polished the business plan; coordinated the administrative scrivener for the visa and restaurant license; interpreted throughout account opening and the health center inspection.

OUTCOME

Visa approved, restaurant opened. We still support the annual renewals and accounting coordination.

REAL ESTATE

Overseas buyer: Okinawa condo purchase + remote management

SITUATION

An overseas buyer found an investment condo in Okinawa but couldn't stay in Japan and worried about risk clauses in the contract.

WHAT WE DID

Translated the mandatory disclosure statement clause by clause; interpreted at signing; coordinated the judicial scrivener for title registration and arranged management for the owner’s absence.

OUTCOME

Deal closed, title registered, local management in place — the buyer tracks everything remotely.

FINANCING

Local business owner: Japan Finance Corporation loan

SITUATION

A business owner in Okinawa wanted to expand; the financial documents and the loan interview were two big hurdles.

WHAT WE DID

Translated the business plan; coordinated with the tax accountant to prepare the financials; interpreted at the loan interview.

OUTCOME

Loan approved; the expansion went ahead.

FAQ

I'm still overseas — can I hire you remotely?
Yes. Notarial translations, business plans and visa documents are handled fully remotely; send files by WhatsApp or email. Japan-side procedures are advanced in Okinawa through our coordinated experts.
Are your translations accepted by Immigration and the Legal Affairs Bureau?
Yes. Translations carry the translator's signature and contact details in the format these institutions expect. In 10+ years, none has been returned for format reasons.
How are the experts' fees handled? Do you take a cut?
Statutory fees are quoted and settled directly between you and the firm. We take no commission; coordination is free. You pay only for translation and interpreting, at the public rates above.
Can you handle urgent jobs?
Standard notarial documents take 1–3 business days. Same-day or next-day rush is negotiable, with the surcharge stated upfront in the quote — never added afterward.
Do you work outside Okinawa?
Document translation: anywhere. Interpreter accompaniment is mainly on Okinawa's main island; for outer islands or the mainland, contact us in advance (travel costs apply).
